Berbick took a dive vs Tyson?

    He just capsises after taking a huge punch a few moments earlier, and a relentless pounding from the start. That is not a dive... the last punch was not the one thing that sent him down - he was on his last legs by then. It was a powerful punch anyway.

    That punch was a powerful left shovel hook, nearly an uppercut and hit between the gloves as Berbick was covering the right side for a possible left hook. Don't know if he took a dive or not but that punch definately landed well enough.

    If that's a dive, that has to be the greatest "i'm not really hurt but i'm going to look like i'm really hurt" jobs in the history of man kind. The guy should have a statue if he was acting. :lol:

    Forget that. He should be awarded the Nobel Prize for the single greatest acting job in the history of mankind. This act puts Denzel Washington's performance in Training Day to shame. :lol:

    Ok either I ****ed up and took the focus off of what I wanted to discuss or people are just being dumb..the punch..from the overhead angle at 5:21 of the video from http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=96844 this looks like a legit KO punch to everyone? Please actually watch the video, I link to this thread because I can't find a short video of the overhead slowmo anywhere, its all fight footage from behind Berbick, which makes it look like it hit him on the chin, when in fact it hit his arm.

    it was a temple shot and it ****ed up his equilibrium as temple shots do.

    they are the hardest punch`s to shake and recover from instantly.

    there was no dive.

    Sake.... Berbick was KTFO!! It was legit all the way... Christ, Mike Tyson bounced him all over the canvas prior to landing the final boom punch... The last shot was a chopping shot high to Berbick's head... T.B. was done like a Turkey on Thanksgiving Day.... No Doubt..:bbb

    No way it was a dive, Berbick would have collapsed 4th time if Mills Lane wouldn't have caught him. :yep

    Have you ever took a heavy hook to the temple area....???

    No i didn't think so...

    So when after a complete bashing for 6 minutes at the hands of one of the most fearsome punchers in history, a shot of any sorts to the temple (that he didn't see coming , disorientated him and his whole co-ordination went shot, the situation was indeed legit , it was textbook .. !!!

    No thrown fight.........
