If Berbick as champion faced Ruddock of the Dokes ko ,what's the result?
Does Razor spark out the durable WBC champ ?
Or can Trevor nullify the Smash and get the win ?
    12 round s .

A competitive fight. I think Ruddock has the edge in most depts and would take it somehow.

Ruddock's power wins him the game here imo .He'd hurt Berbick enough to keep him honest but I don't see him stopping him .Trev has a few good round catching Razor but Ruddock gets the win .

Ruddock would catches Berbick and smash him out of there at some point. Would be a good battle up until that happens though.

Instinctually, I’m inclined to go with Ruddock by knockout just because the precedence is there. That said, Berbick did take a pummelling from a far sharper, more multifaceted puncher in Tyson before succumbing, and his performance against Holmes is a better performance than anything Ruddock ever did .

    Berbick wins by UD.

Razor Ruddock never really impressed me all that much. Outside of enduring a beating twice from Mike Tyson and his spectacular KO over Dokes, who did he really beat? Mike Weaver? Razor ran like a thief and eked out a SD. He defeated washed up over-the-hill fighters in Broad and Smith. As for the Dokes fight, Razor was being outboxed until he landed the "smash." It was all downhill for this heavier version of Dokes anyway since his spirited loss to Evander Holyfield the year prior.

Berbick had some very good wins. He handed future champ Greg Page his first defeat, then won the title from previously unbeaten Pinklon Thomas. Even after his 2nd round KO loss to Mike Tyson, he still managed to be competitive with pretty decent opposition well into his 40s. Whereas Donovan was dull as dishwater by his early 30s.

Ruddock is indeed extremely thin in the W column. He gets enormous and i mean enormous mileage out of the two Tyson losses.

If berbick fought a smart fight and grabbed and mauled while working away at Razor he could win a decision but as Trev was a complete nutter he would probably get involved in a punch up and get KOed.Would be fun.

Two Jamaican Canadian strongmen. Larry Holmes called Berbick the strongest fighter he faced. In a fight which never reaches great heights Berbick wins on pts.

I like this one. I think It's close because of the lack of movement from Ruddock his power was real tho, Berbick was pretty durable and it was pretty easy to control Ruddock. Grab, jab and move type fight

    I pick Berbick 12UD
