Toney defeated a similar fighter in boring John Ruiz. Both were vulnerable to big punchers and both came back from brutal ko to win the title. Toney victory over Ruiz was tainted by Ped's. Berbick though was at his best way busier and talented than Ruiz . Berbick on pts.
Toney was such a master technician when he was in shape. Berbick ordinary solid contender/champion by luck. Berbick tried his hardest against Tyson and was mentally ready to fight, thats why he had to be physically stopped by disconnecting his brain from his legs.
Toney on points I think. James was more skillful and was tough enough to hang in there if it gets rough.Trevor was just a big strong bloke who was tough and a total nutter .
