Tough fight for Davis. Berchelt is big at 130 and Davis is a small guy. With that said he would tee off on Berchelt all night long.

I think Berchelt has a very good technical aspect to his game. But Davis is something special. I'd love to see them unify, but I think Davis pulls it off in a tight competitive fight.

    Would be interesting.

Davis looked very bad, when Pedraza was throwing combinations with a high workrate. Berchelt does this with even more power. It looked like Davis is hiding behind his defense, when he is under heavy fire. But Berchelt is there to be hit and Davis has a lot of power...

    True.
But we "know" the Loma fight wont be happening. TMT wants to season Davis before that.
In all honesty, Davis is just a prospect who holds a belt.

I don't think beating Pedraza keeps you a prospect. I think he's a full fledged title holder now. And somebody to be reckoned with in the division!

davis is 22 that is prospect age. he does have a good amature pedigree and he is a champion beltholder. berchelt beltholder and champion maybe. loma p4p #1 imo no way in hell. see you in three years loma.

But we need another fight on that Card. how about jackvsgstring.

There's been plenty of world champions at that age and younger. He's a title holder and is beyond being a prospect. He passed his test with flying colors against Pedraza.

 So predictable. I'd pick Vargas, Salido, Miura and Berchelt to beat Pedraza, who was drained and on his way out of the division. Pedraza clearly showed up for a paycheck, otherwise he'd have actually fought intelligently, like he had in almost every other fight he's had in the last 4 years.

Hold your heapings of praise until Gervonta has actually beaten someone who can punch back, and can hurt him.

Did you see the Berchelt fight yet? He was hurting Vargas with almost every shot from the end of round 1 on, his power is for real, its not just that he wore Vargas down, he brutalized him from the opening bell, and no it wasn'rt just because Vargas was "shot", Berchelt like I said before, is just better.

Pedraza fought very uncharacteristically, in his last match at a weight he couldn't make anymore on a FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. card, against a FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. fighter, he knew he had no chance regardless, so he phoned it in.

I agree. Berchelt is a ****ing beast. He has a high ring IQ, and knows his way around the ring and will pose a bigger threat than Pedraza did, but not because Jose wasn't ready, but because Berchelt is just a more durable fighter. He can fight from outside and could fight in the trenches. This fight proved alot as far as how good Berchelt is. I would love Berchelt vs Davis, or Lomachenko. Corrales is just paper weight imo, and Sosa and Fortuna are there, but are easily beatable.
