Bergeron actually hurt Valuev but loses to very questionable decision

    yes, bergeron actually hurt him. valuev's legs were gone for a second. it was a very close fight, maybe if you give valuev a little bonus, he won with one round. but what really confuses me, is that they want him to improve his boxing skills and learns how to box instead of let him use his physical advantage and fight. he now dances through the ring, makes a shuffle from time to time. with a body like that he should simply overwelm his opponents, push them into the ropes and brutalize them. any decent counterpuncher could win against valuev, if there is a fair decision.

    He was stunned for a brief moment, exactly the same way Barret stunned him.
    I wouldn't call it 'being hurt' though.
    Bergeron landed a flush power punch right when Valuev was in the process of throwing a punch himself, those are usually the punches that knock you out.

    whatever the case, valuev lost a lot of credability!

    You must have some in order to lose some. From the RbR and other comments, I gathered that this was a typical Valuev fight - mediocre and just doing enough to get by, against questionable opposition. :zzz

    decision wasnt questionalble valuev clearly won 8-4 imo
