Let me use the ***** logic; Bradley made Alexander quit, Alexander beat Maidana easy, Floyd struggled with Maidana. Bradley > Alexander > Floyd > Maidana

 

That's what makes May/Pac interesting. Pac struggled against JMM (a counterpuncher) in every fight, and May is a much better counterpuncher than JMM so that leads people to say May would easily beat Pac.

One thing though, when under pressure, May focuses on defense and doesn't throw a whole lot. Marquez's instinct forces him to stand and trade when in that situation, which is when he caught Pac with some of those big shots.

That's what makes this fight interesting to me. I think it will be a competitive fight even though Mayweather destroyed Marquez. Mayweather is not as aggressive as JMM so will probably take Pacquiao to score cards. If Pacquiao can keep up the pressure as Maidana did, I wonder what the outcome will be. Pacquiao is much more accurate than Maidana so will likely close the gap more on the cards.

I still think Floyd wins a close decision.

I think the Pac who fought DLH/Hatton/Cotto would have had a great chance of it. Not sure on today's Pac though. He looked good against Bradley, but still didn't look like the old Pacquiao. Need to see him another fight to really gauge where he is. It's hard to tell where he really stacks up since his promoter keeps regurgitating the same fights over and over again.

I think that would be a great fight. Hopefully DLH and Arum really do make up and start working together again. If DLH puts Shaefer's job on the line I am sure they can start working together again.
