Beristain says Steward is the best (current) trainer

    Just saw him on ESPN Depoortes show Golpe a Golpe. When asked who he thought was the best active trainer, Nacho said it was Emanuel Steward specifically citing the work he did with Lennox Lewis. I personally think Beristain is the best active trainer but it's certainly high praise for Steward.

    I personally think Pedro Diaz is the best trainer right now.

    Funny you mention Linares...they asked Nacho about him and it almost seemed to me as if Nacho was (indirectly) volunteering his services by saying that there are several trainers out there that could help Linares. I agree with you, they would be a perfect match.

    I've always thought Beristein would improve Linares....he trains very good boxer punchers...Linares need to sore up that defense

    Word Real G ..You have to be cut from a certain cloth to hear that and come out the gate ready to do your trainer proud ..JT was just not that type mentally ..
