Who would you favor in a match between Berlanga and Plant?

Going into the Canelo fight, many people didn't rate Berlanga but now that we've seen how Berlanga fared against Canelo, I really wonder how these two matchup.

I mean, on the one hand, Plant has a good skillset, he's a very accurate puncher, has good footwork, and move and stay out of harms way for long stretches, he went the distance against Benavidez, was competitive against Canelo, and maybe most fans would give him more rounds against Canelo than Berlanga, though Berlanga seemed to hold up better against Canelo physically than Plant did, who faded late, got hurt and stopped. He also faded against Benavidez despite managing to go the distance, which isn't a knock on him at all, but we haven't seen Berlanga in that kind of trouble. We also saw Plant get knocked down and in some trouble early against McCumby. I highly doubt McCumby, for example, could put down Berlanga or have him in that kind of trouble.

On the other hand, could Berlanga get McCumby out of there like Plant did? Maybe, I don't know, but the point is, I think from what we've seen against Canelo, Berlanga certainly wouldn't be a walk in the park for Plant. And after seeing Berlanga against Canelo, who appears to have a great chin and some good defensive skills in addition to size and power, I highly doubt that Plant could get him out of there. And I really wonder if Plant could take the kind of shots that Berlanga landed on Canelo. Maybe Plant wouldn't take the kind of shots Canelo did because he's be on the move, but what if one landed. Could Plant outbox him, maybe, but that's what this poll is for. Could Plant outbox him early like Plant did against Benavidez but then get caught and hurt by Berlanga late in the fight if he starts to tire and slow down? Could Berlanga do (maybe to a lesser extent but still somewhat) what Benavidez did to him, i.e. get outboxed early but then slowly find the range and land something big, hurt him, slow him down and maybe win a decision after losing some early rounds?

This is a fascinating match and it would be a fun one. I would like to see how Plant would deal with Berlanga. When Plant is cooking, like he was after getting up from the flash KD against McCumby, he has elite skills. But I think Plant would have his hands full with Berlanga and I think Berlanga might be able to catch Plant with something big, and Berlanga's size could be a problem for Caleb especially late in the fight if Caleb fades but Berlanga is the fresher fighter in the late rounds.

    Plant is PBC
& haymon don’t like working with Hearn… I mean right?

I wanted Berlanga vs plant as well.
But we will likely get Berlanga vs Munguía 1st.

Plant would dominate him. Berlanga really didn’t do anything against Canelo but survive and it was mainly due to him coming in at almost 200 pounds on fight night.

Yep, and Plant have been talking a lot of smack to Berlanga so that fight makes sense also.

    Yeah it does.
I want that one 1st, but Eddie Hearn is talking Munguía vs Berlanga.
    PBC don’t work with Hearn.
