Stiverne was caught cheating too though.

Stiverne has been inactive for over a year now though. Now they'll just talk about the lay-off.

Yes, good point. So I guess he deserves blame too ...

I'm pretty sure he's going to get paid a portion of his purse because of this, and he'll probably get an even bigger payday against Wilder. He just fks over the fans this way though.

    Who has Stiverne beaten?

    1. Arreola x2
    2. 41 year old Ray Austin

Stiverne is **** and Wilder v Stiverne 2 would just be a waste of everyone's goddamn time.

It's not my call doe.. most likely the WBC will mandate him, there's not much anybody can do about that.

Wilder can unify instead. AJ-Klitschko winner or Parker, both will fight him I think!

    Damn!
The guy is a hypocrite too. He just got caught himself and now he knows his opponent is juicing too he pulls out and acts like he was wronged in some major way.

And why would Wilder fight him now? Wilder doesn't want to fight drug cheats right?!

Looking at the WBC top 15, that's close to the only way Wilder gets a top opponent soon.

Wilder-Stiverne II is a waste of time, yes Stiverne was sick the first time, but he isn't going to win the rematch anyway. And the rest of the WBC top 15 are poor in general, the only decent fight there is Pulev. Washington, Jennings, Whyte or Miller are acceptable too I suppose, but ...

    LET'S UNIFY!!!

Sometimes it's hard to be a fight fan, because the sport is so volatile and unpredictable. Two potentially very entertaining fights, one with a title ramification, both cancelled. That's in one weekend. One because of a bad weight cut, another because two idiots were caught cheating.

You don't have situations where you're let down in such a way by other sports, two big games being cancelled in one weekend.

    Boxing is ridiculous sometimes.

Wilder hasn't said he wants to rematch Stiverne, so let's not blame him yet. It only happens if the WBC mandates it, personally in view of all the failed drugs tests I think they should just scrap the interim title.
