The thing is not many are willing to step in the ring with him unless they're drug cheats. The only fight I can truly criticize Wilder for not taking was the Wlad fight. The timing was always wrong with Fury, I believe they both wanted to fight each other, Povetkin was a drug cheat, Pulev I have no clue what's going on over there, Hearn said Joshua was too "green".

I hope Bermane's okay. Hope he ain't going into a binge eating rage, raiding all the burger king's across Russia. They might try contaminating his meat.

Interesting he's not even going to listen to Povetkins side of the story! Maybe Alexander consumed an 'Energy Supplement' also Bermane! You seem to wanna get outta dodge FAST. Reminds me of somebody else.

    So it's Stiverne's fault?

The WBC has withdrawn recognition,do you get that? If Stiverne didn't fancy the fight do you think he would go all the way to Russia?**** me there's some thicko's on here!

He would have gone home a long while back if Povetkin had the same attitude. Clearly we know why he didn't. But still strange of Stiverne to do this now... I've always been a big Povetkin fan but must admit I hope Duhappuas wins here. Would be epic. What a randomly awesome substitute opponent, haha.

The issue for some is that Stiverne also failed a drugs test in November, although upon investigation the WBC decided that it was it was not done knowingly or to gain an advantage.

Well Stiverne said he was going home because the bout was no longer sanctioned by the WBC so therefore pointless. A win wouldn't make him the mandatory to Wilder.

That's bad for Stiverne, but I only feel half as bad for him as I would normally do because he was caught for PEDs himself.

This is Povetkin's mess again so ultimately he can only blame himself but it would of been nice if Stiverne went through with the fight. He failed a test himself and Povetkin's camp didn't drop the fight Nor did the WBC withdraw recognition over it.

I don't feel bad for him at all.

I went to bat for Wilder because at least he tested negative.

You test positive yourself, you lose the right to get on your high horse about it. Especially for someone like Stiverne. Wilder has options for his career moving forward and had a much better case for leaving. This was the crossroads for Bermane, and he's happy just walking away. Disappointing for Povetkin. Disappointing for Stiverne. This fight should've come off.

Had to laugh that he called Povetkin 'unprofessional' (and not a 'cheat') for getting his PED cycle wrong.. lol
