Ruiz Jr is one of the most underrated HWs out there. For me he is a legit Top 10 in terms of skills. The Parker loss definitely took some of his spirit and motivation but he looked great in his comeback fight and i assume he will look even better vs Johnson next month. He would beat Stiverne probably 8 or 9 out of 10 times.

I would love to see him fighting Wilder.

Lol, why would I make that up? Ruiz is very talented, unfortunately he’s as talented at the buffe table as well...

This. Arreola came in under 240lbs against Stiverne and came ready to fight. Against Vitali Arreola was a fat tub of lard at well over 250 lbs and put in a pitiful performance.

He looked great against Devin Vargas. Who hasn't?

There are four major sanctioning bodies with nearly 30 top contenders he could face. Andy Ruiz has a top promoter and he fights nobodies.

In the past two years, Andy Ruiz has fought ONCE - against Vargas. And he's fighting Kevin Johnson in a couple weeks.

    Andy Ruiz is nothing.

This. After the 1st Wilder fight he was done. Showing up at over 250 lbs and barely getting a decision over a scrub like Rossy, who an inshape Stiverne would easily knockout told me all I needed to know. Stiverne at this point is a heavy bag for young contenders to get some rounds with and a name to put on their resume.

Ruiz will beat Stiverne, just like he beat Parker. ;)

    Fast, fast hands.

And Stivern doesn't have a huge reach advantage, as some other HW would.

If we’re talking about the current Stiverne then I’d take Ruiz in a blowout.

By the time Stiverne gets in the ring again ,if he ever does again, he’ll be 40 yrs old and have fought one round in 3 years. Not too mention he looked totally uninterested in training or fighting his last time out.

Ruiz may have weight issues but he’s a good fighter who is in his prime. He’d beat up and stop Stiverne by the middle rounds.

If we take Stiverne from 4-5 years ago then it’s a good competitive fight but this version is done.

Some of the All Blacks team have faster feet than Andy Ruiz Jr. whose feet are faster than Amir Khan's hands. How can you not be impressed by that?

Ruiz beat him. There's no doubt in my mind.

However, it wasn't really a memorable performance from either man.

Andy Ruiz Jr would win this via KO.

Stiverne looked like a man suffering from addiction issues and lack of training in the Wilder rematch. He looks completely finished at this point.

Even though Andy piled the pounds back on he is still good enough to close the show
