Round 1

Imam is circling and sticking jabs down a narrow lane into the exposed face of Ugas. Jabs put upward from the stomach by Ugas, cuffing in close with a left hook and bringing up a right hand from the far buttock. Imam is jabbing the body and head while circling left. High jab from down low by Ugas, blocked. Ugas flurries Imam onto the ropes, Imam turning and slipping punches with his left arm curled around his body and head pulled back. Ugas puts up a peekaboo, Everlast logo facing out to Imam and catching his jabs. COUNTER RIGHT BY UGAS, rocking Imam threading needle as he was in the middle of a 1-2.

10-9 Ugas, otherwise close & stolen with that hurtful blast late.

 

Like so many guys who pad up records akin to his 13-0 with 12 knockouts, it seems Imam has been carefully spoon-fed baby mush since he can't actually take a shot himself. (Atlas mentions the combined record of his victims is 87-143-13 :-()

 

Kind of. Does that really benefit either guy in the main event? :think

 

Round 2

Imam is circling wide, popping jabs from outside. Ugas is pressing in and sweeping left uppercuts at the bottom of Imam's chin. Jabs and quick lean-overs by Imam as he circles and hugs the ropes, popping a few short rights into the air. Ugas is busy coming forward, whacking Imam on his shredded physique behind the ribs and jabbing up to make Imam jerk away.

I don't know if Stiverne necessarily cared about having a huge ring, or needs space to move...

 

Round 3

Imam is getting walked onto the ropes, flicking jabs while Ugas is still a pace or two off, missing and then ducking behind his guard. Imam doubles his jab into Ugas' gloves. Ugas is stuffing the Imam jab with a left hook and steps in with a heavy right hand on the jaw. Ugas is forcing an exchange, Imam's back on the ropes. Both get in a few straights, Ugas' right hand the hardest thing landing between them. BIG right hand at the bell from Ugas.
