Vitali's power have always been overrated and I don't think he lost any going into the Haye fight. The last thing to leave a boxer is there punching power.

Vitali was more an accumulation puncher towards the end, he was heavy handed but Hayes power and speed = more devasting circumstances. However chisora went into brawl the much shorter haye hot blooded and walked into loads. Against helenuis and vitali, he used rolls, head movement and so on, and a tight guard, it's easier to slip those punches as a shorter man. Haye used to punch with speed from punches below, his hands often low. Dellboy were t ready for it. But styles make fights, haye is definitely a good puncher with speed, but if u can dog him, pressure and punch him with force you will put him to kip. Haye is a manafactured heavyweight, he isn't tough enough to go through strong prime top 10 heavyweights.

What makes you think he is legit, beating that fat overrated lard in arreola or knocking out a shot to **** ray austin who was outboxing him and winning on points... Come on he is just as unproven as wilder is.

Until Stiverne proves him self as a legit heavyweight David Haye beats him.

Vitali has always been an accumulated puncher and I have never taken his Knockout ratio record seriously. Like you said, Chisora was able to do something past Vitali opponents couldn't do except maybe Kevin John, and that is roll with his punches.

Unless you're a very tall heavyweight with a great jab (Wladimir Klitschko), you're not beating David Haye. Haye is very elusive and punches with speed which makes it difficult for this shorter heavyweights to corner him. That's why I said Haye Povetkins and Stiverne cannot beat him. Thats why even Wladimir Klitschko with his height and weight advantage was very carefully while pressuring Haye, because he realise that Haye was capable of catching him at anytime like he did Chisora. From a stylistic viewpoint, Stiverne and Povetkin are very easy matchup for haye. All Haye has to do is pot shot these guys while fighting of the back foot. Sooner or later they're gonna walk into a check hook that hurts them or possibly stops them. yes Haye punches that hard.

Haye by stoppage. Stiverne's a good fighter. But too slow footed, to deal with Haye's speed and agility.

Haye's the better fighter....I think he takes it on points or TKO late.

A prime Haye knocks both guys out in under 6 rounds. Hayes fast and powerful. Wilder's punches can be seen coming a mile away, similar to Sam Peter. He loads up too much, nothings ever straight or crisp with him. Stiverne is too slow and plodding, Haye would fight at a distance and catch him with counters until one lands eventually on his chin.

Haye is very underrated. It's too bad his injuries got in the way of him fighting more frequently.

    Agreed.

Those are the kinds of guys Haye eats for lunch.

I agree with everything you said except for Wilders punches being similar to Peter. Wilder has the second quickest hands behind Haye and Maybe Wladimir Klitschko.

I can see Haye getting KO'd at some point if he does make a comeback. Maybe not against Stiverne but I get the feeling it will happen against someone. He is small for the division, relies heavily on athleticism, is not getting any younger and has had some injuries and lay off's. A comeback might not go so well.

Haye is a special fighter, too bad most people don't give him enough credit for it. I hope he returns from his injuries, and gives Fury the beatdown he deserves. :good

He still loads up on his punches. Most of his punches are not straight, and will be countered by the first solid heavyweight he faces.
