So should Haye? Thompson got a rematch because he fought an eliminator to become mandatory challengers. Twice. Thompson showed courage, fought ranked opponents in eliminators and won his fights. He earned his shots. Twice.

How many times has Haye become mandatory HW challenger?

If you follow boxing, anyone can a shot at that the champ. Sometimes by not even fighting. Corrie Sanders did, Lamon Brewster did, and they clearly gave Wlad all he can handle. I rather see Briggs fight Wlad again than a Chagaev rematch, or even worse another fight with old man Thompson.

Haye ' s not a genuine HW. He was a good CW who had a carefully managed career at HW. Just stay retired he has 1 bad performance on his record why make it more.

I think that's a little harsh. The size difference was monstrous. A freak show if you will. I think Haye fought a great fight, moving and trying to get inside. What else was he supposed to do to deal with that reach?! Credit where credit is due - he got the job doen and overcame significant disadvantages there.

By the way, I am no Haye apologist. I was very disappointed in the Wlad fight, and the Fury fight falling through twice (which I was really intrigued about). I just like to see fighters getting a fair shake - and Haye is (usually) an exciting guy to watch in an all too often dull division.
