I think Wilder will take a few shots before going down, and make it interesting.
My early guess is Stiverne by 7th round KO.
Wilder will prove to be game.

I also think it's a strong possibility that the ref could be bought here.
No one is paying the judges to throw this one.....it won't make it that far.
Hopefully they get an honorable ref.
Stiverne's way of countering after taking a few, and seemingly sitting there could be an excuse for a ref with a hair trigger to stop the fight, much like his only stoppage loss.
If they get a British ref you know the fix is in.:yep

“I have heard nothing but excuses for my 32 wins by KO and when I get 33, I don’t want to hear anything about it,” Wilder said. “I can’t let my ultimate number one fan, my daughter, down on Jan17. I’m going to fulfill my promise to her to be world champ.”

For those who don't know. His daughter is suffering from Spina Bifida, an incurable disease. It's quite sad.

    This is a great story.

    War Deontay! :deal

In all honesty I actually would prefer it if Deontay KO'd Stiverne, Stiverne seems like little bit of an ass. But I don't think he will.

Wilder knocking out Stiverne would be quite an upset. Not a gigantic one, but a pretty decent shocker.

Would rather deontay won, stiverne has no personality, even less than wlad. I may be bigger fan of wilder when he beats someone but he will be behind the furys,Joshua, price,Thompson,Cunningham for my support.

Deontay has a fair chance of winning. Even if he is crude technically, he is very fast and can punch extremely hard. Using the argument that a guy can't win because his level of comp is weaker is faulty. Ken Norton started boxing at a later age than Wilder and had a worse prefight resume before his first fight with Ali.

I wanna see how wilder reacts when stiverne gets in close and he can't throw that right hand, how would you describe deontays style, a lanky brawler 1 handed brawler. I ain't bothered watching half of his fights against circus freaks

What will prove Wilder & Joshua's worth will be the day someone lay one on their whiskers. To be a HW champ you've got to be able to take it as well as hand it out. Time will tell

Heart and commitment, they may suffer a few ko losses reigning at the top, like Lewis and wladimir, 2 great heavyweight champs. Let's see how badly a loss can affect them, I think the way the heavyweight division is heading, it's going to be very exciting and the one who can come out less punished will reign. I mean wilder has had 31 fights, he hasn't fought anyone. He could do it twice over, I can't see him ruling for long, he doesn't look schooled enough when he faces someone a bit more savvy and wanting to win. But if he beats stiverne he can't hide no longer from real the threats, let's see.
