Wilder won't sell out for cheap. Wlad needs to face Pulev first or be stripped of his IBF belt.

Wlad used the Mandatory excuse to face that bum Alex Leapai. Well Pulev is mandatory as well and Wlad claims Pulev is not good enough to face him. **** Wlad with his bull****. He will never have the WBC belt. I hope Pulev beats his ass.

    No.

Regardless of what Wlad has to gain, it's Stiverne's Mandatory, and Stiverne's obligation to fight Wilder.

However, should Stiverne not be willing to pay the step aside money, and Wlad keen to make the fight (Not only because he wants the belt, but because it can often take years to negotiate Unification bouts), then Wlad's camp may opt to make the payment...

But we all know K2 don't like paying out where they don't have to!

If Wilder can avoid the big shot, he jabs Stiverne to death and maybe knocks him out later on.

Nothing wrong with making a voluntary defense before fighting either of these two.

According to the WBC there is something wrong with it. According to the WBC Stiverne has to fight a mando before making a voluntary defense, unless the mandatory challenger agrees to step aside.

    No.
Wlad wants himself in line for the fight. Its his obligation to offer Wilder and his team sep aside money.
It all comes down to weather Wilder accepts it or not or if he will enforce his status as mando.
Stervine has nothing to pay to Wilder. Wlad is pushing for Stervine. Not the other way around. Its on Wlad to make it happen

A Joke isn't it. He hides behind his lame mando excuse to take easy fights.

Wasn't Wlad criticized for prpopsing to fight Chisora (his mandatory) ?

And didn't he pay Chisora some step-aside money to face what everyone felt was a tougher challenge in Haye ?

And now we have folks who claim that he ducked Chisora.

    The guy just can't win.

That Lepai was his mandatory is hardly Wlad's fault. If you want to assign blame, lay it on Bostyov who failed to get past an easy step.

Wlad's next two fights (don't care about the order) should be Pulev and Stiverne.

I like the idea of both Wlad and Bermane fighting their mandatories first and then a battle for 4-belt unification. Whoever emerges from that would be recognized as undisputed top dog in the division.

I'm a fan of three of these four fighters and I could become a fan of Wilder too if he beats Stiverne and the winner of Wlad/Pulev.

Wlad vs Pulev or Stiverne next is fine. I think Pulev has earned his mandatory position and should get his shot but a unification of all 4 belts is a bid deal and if that happens its fine too.

My fear was King was going to try to parade Stiverne around as the world champion and have him face guys like Briggs, Peter, and Tarver while avoiding any real challenges for as long as possible and it doesn't seem the WBC is going to let that happen but who knows.

I like all these possible match ups and am glad to see the top guys facing each other.
