It certainly won't go the distance that's for sure... (I know, Wlad vs Haype :!:), and also expect it to be pretty exciting.

Also don't think this would be a fight for the "sweet science" fans, because it probably won't be one of the greatest displays in skill we've ever seen in the division of kings.

stiverne ain't all that, neither is wilder. If he beat a guy like Pulev or Povetkin I'd say he'd legit.

Of course they will, Wilder is the future, just watch it, and remember that Ellerbe said it 1st.

Tyson was 27-0 at 20 years old when he fought Berbick. not to mention he turned pro in 1985 and fought berbick for the world title in 1986

Tyson had great speed, power and boxing technique acquired from one of boxings legendary trainers in Cus. he knocked out everyone despite his smaller size 5'10

Wilder on the other hand turned pro in 2008 and has got to 32-0 and is only now fighting for the world title. he fights like an amateur swinging wild punches and stands at 6'6?

    7 years - 32 fights
    1 Year - 27 fights

theres not really a comparison to be made

If Wilder wins you have to then consider him as a legitimate top 5 heavyweight and a threat to anyone. I personally see Stiverne winning and have never been sold on Wilder, so if he wins I will give him the credit he deserves.

Nobody took Tyson seriously that's the parallel and if you don't see that I can't help you.

I'll let you in on another parallel. Tyson was a 3:1 favorite vs. Berbick (belt holder) with the bookies. And guess what. Wilder is a (slight) favorite with the bookies vs Stiverne (belt holder) as someone posted in another thread.

This is just not true. As someone who was a major boxing fan at the time, I can assure you that most people expected Tyson to win.

Tyson, as I mentioned above, had in a much shorter time, fought much better competition prior to going into his fight against Berbick. And unlike Wilder, he hadn't shown punch resistance issues.

Wilder has fought pathetic "competition," and shown much more vulnerability. Unless the fix is in, he will be destroyed by Stiverne.:yep

Depends how he wins. To act as if Wilder hasn't been coddled and babied is delusional. Can you tell me when the last time a Contender got a title shot with a resume as bad as Wilder's? I mean he beat Malik Scott for a title shot :rofl

Tyson had at least fought Furgason, Tillis, and Ribalta.

Stiverne with a highlight reel savage KO on a right hand counter. Wilder isn't prepared to fight at this level. His career has been like Primo Carnera to this point with bums and outright fixed fights.

Agreed. Based on what we have seen over the past five years, unless there is some kind of agreement for Stiverne to take a dive, there is no way that he loses this fight. Wilder is THAT bad!:deal

Tyson had an aura of invincibility about him, Wilder has an aura of vulnerability.
