He'll establish himself as a legit top 5 contender if he defeats Stiverne.

I have Wilder as a slight favorite to be honest, although wouldn't be surprised if either guy gets blasted out early.

This is such an intriguing matchup. Is Wilders power going to carry him to another early KO? What happens when Stiverne connects with either his left or right hook (both are stunning punches) I'd love to see an explosive war ala Moorer- Cooper from back in my day. I've watched both of these men fight for years and my gut tells me Stiverne, but if Wilder connects early who knows.. One things for sure I can't wait to see it!!!!!

I see a 2 or 3 round fight with an episode of Shattered Glass.

Very true, that is a good summary statement.

Comparisons with Tyson are way wide of the mark. Look at the age and career time difference.

Anyway, I guess it depends on how you rate Stiverne. No, he's not great but at least he's a top 10 guy which is considerably more than Wilder's previous opponents have been.

I'm not sold on him, if he wins, I'll give him credit.

I agree, if he wins he'll have to be taken seriously, that said it also depends on the performance of Stiverne.

Depends on how he wins and how Stiverne shows up. Technically, KO1ing Scott is a terrific achievement but yeah...

It would surely be a Step up. But until then he is just a bum rusher.

with his resume of fighting auto mechanics and plumbers I dont think he is very serous about his career. However for him to get a title shot with that resume he got some serious clout behind him for sure.
