    If Stivern goes down from a punch like Malik Scott we will know some dinero was passed under the table and Stivern was promised another title shot.

    Agreed, such a victory would put Wilder right in Wlad's face. In today's extermely weak heavyweight division, Wilder would be the man next to Wlad.

    Personally, I would like Stiverne to win but to me Wilder is a slight favourite due to this size and reach.

    I look forward to this fight cause this is a real fight, not one of those Wlad farce fights.

    That's right. Arreola actually knocked out some decent HWs. Wilder's "power" is a mirage, produced by fighting stiffs ready to fall down on cue.

    I will agree that Wilder been more protected than a virgin daughter on prom night:smoke

    Stiverne is a great counter puncher but he gets lazy. He loves to nap on the ropes and drag his feet but he can BANG:!:

    Wilder: Long range, power yet drops that hand too low.

    I think this is a 50/50 flip and pic EM fight:smoke

    I am down you seem to actually be pretty knowlegdeable boxing enthusiast. What the debate ?
    If its for Sparring sorry cannot travel outside of Canada for 3 more years till my pardon goes through for Cultivation :rasta. Got caught with 10lbs over my limit for my medical license.

    anyone betting on Wilder should be extremely concerned. The "most solid journeyman" that he fought, his power didn't really effect. Gavern pulled the plug on himself, Wilder couldn't get rid of him at all. That's very telling

    That is the problem with guys like Wilder. If you remember Sam Peter was discussed on here as this devastating puncher. When he stepped up in class from the C and D level opponents he couldn't KO anyone. I suspect we will see the same with Wilder. Plus Wilder hasn't been deep in a fight and we don't know if he will carry his power into the 8th and 9th rounds.

    Indeed, Sam's only high level KO was Maskaev who had been melted tons of times before. Wilder's people are hoping for a hail mary swing, but if Stiverne doesn't drop, and the shots he took from Arreola suggest he wont, I'm certain they have no plan b.
