I think it's pointless doing a ban bet unless the admin's actually ban the loser...for one a loser could just choose to carry on posting and participating for the month which derides all reason for a ban bet but as well as that it just becomes a way to throw abuse at the loser in a pointless, childish manner. If admin's actually got involved to ban the bet losers I might consider.

    It'll never happen.

This is what I think's gonna happen

Muricans have been desperately waiting for a new HW world champ of their own for a long time
and the fact they have no presence in boxing's flagship division really hurts the sport from a business standpoint

So there's plenty of $$$ invested in making Windmiller world champ, lots of interests involved

They bought his WBC rank, they fixed the fight with his first semi-decent opponent ever Malik Scott, and they'll do it again with Stiverne.

I expect another divejob in the Wilder-Stiverne match, once the coddled hypejob gets the belt he'll avoid Wladimir like the plague, he'll be allowed to defend his belt against bums and to avoid mandatories just like superstars are, and voila! we finally have our new dominant murican hw champ

Wilder will keep his fake ass title for a long time until a new, more popular murican hypejob appears

Who agrees with this possible scenario?

I agree. Listen to this. Don King is very good friends with Al Haymon.

King called Haymon “a brilliant and intelligent, young man,” adding, “Al Haymon is the icing on the cake.”

The only odd thing is King seems to be openly rooting for Wilder probably because Stiverne has been trying to leave him and will as soon as the contract is up.

    I wouldn't be shocked.

We all know Americans are corrupt and often need to cheat to win. I fully expect either Stiverne to take a dive, get a fast count or some other tomfoolery.

It's possible. Stiverne sounded too calm and humble, almost shy, in a recent interview. Different than the Arreola fight interviews. It's like DK sold him out for options on Wilder's next fights and told him to STFU... I think Stiverne goes down in the 3rd or 4th from a partially blocked straight right that probably doesn't hurt him that much.

    This is dumb!!

First off the fight anit going 12 so the judges have no say so in fixing!

Stiverne anit laying down for nobody homey! You gots to be nuts!

This is the last time Don King will have a piece of the HW champ in his lifetime and barely has any fighters now. King anit fixing ****. I hope Wilder wins because if Stiverne does, King will milk that title and Stiverne will fight nobody the rest of the year.

Bought his ranking?? oh jeez dude lay off the sauce. WBC was courrputed with old man SUliman. he made up his own rankings. His son is doing alot better in less then a year so far

Wouldn't shock me one bit. Malik Scott definitely took a dive. So in a bigger stakes fight, why not. A lot is riding on Wilder.

malik scott lost to Derek chisora, malik is a crooked boxer himself. He has no power and no chin. Stop making him out to be a great fighter. And so i bet he was bunged a few quid to go down. Bermane stiverne dont strike me as a man to do that.

Al Haymon and Don King might be playing a game here...

It might be an Ali - Sonny Liston moment. I know the fbi are meant to be investigating Al Haymon so who knows if it relates to fixing fights.

How much would Stiverne have to be paid??

It would completely upset his career abd ruin his chance of getting a big money shot against Wladimir in a unification fight.

It wouldnt be worth the money to pay the guy to dive!

Yeah, this made me real nervous about the possibility of a fix. It is almost as if King is rooting for Wilder to win.

Wilder is such a fraud, it is clear there is NO way he could beat a top level guy like Stiverne without some shenanigans. Unfortunately, the closer this gets, the more likely it seems like a realistic possibility.

Hmmm....plausible. I could see King making Wilder his " ruiz " and matching him vs tier two guys vs non top ten level opposition.

I can't rule out a fix because Don King is a shady criminal who discards fighters on a whim and has fixed or has been involved partly in fixing fights in the past.

He's very good at manipulating his fighters over money or in some type of contract which a fighter may not understand. A lot of asterisks and small print.

Remember when Foreman beat Fraizier? He managed Fraizier then George Foreman unexpectedly knocked out Fraizier. Don King went into the ring and started praising Foreman and became his manager.

It wasn't fixed but his actions prove he is very disloyal to his fighters.
