Pretty much any top 10 heavy would do for me. Wilder's fights are fun, he's either getting KOd and KOs somebody.

If he beats the winner of Wilder-Stiverne, Wlad will be the first HW to ever unify all four of the major belts (WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO).

    Question:

Is there some benefit to constantly merging threads (prevents the site from crashing, etc.)?

Because it's annoying as hell to have the topics everyone wants to discuss shut down by merging them into unreadable giant threads. It's like the mods are sabotoging the forum and it's getting ridiculous.

Things worked fine before this started, and it works fine on other (better) forums too.

I didn't know Wilder only starting to box at 20. Im leaning towards Stiverne as it nears.
But he took way to many shots on the gloves before he took out arroela.

Its intriguing and a good fight. I don't mind who wins as long as there's no controversy or suspected dive jobs.

I'm beginning to think it's to intentionally drive people away from this forum. The steps taken over the last two years would show strong evidence of that.

No, things didn't work fine. This forum had a reputation as being unreadable precisely because of all the circus-act topics which spawned thread after thread of nonstop trolling and factional bickering.

You're whining about maybe 3-4 topics, all of them lightning rods for sideshow nonsense which, left unchecked, results in dozens of threads a week (if not daily) made for the sole purpose of name-calling, mud-slinging, and rehashing of arguments by haters and fan-boys - or, well-intentioned threads inevitably hijacked by the haters and fan-boys for those purposes because they are such lightning rod topics. You have this one, the Briggs videos one, the May-Pac one, and the May-Khan one.

If you really think merging threads on those four measly topics - FOUR topics of the literally hundreds there are to discuss about boxing on any given day, yet four topics which make up a wildly disproportionate # of threads mucking the place up if left unchecked - is for the overall worse of the forum, then you're simply not a boxing fan. You're just another troll wanting to stir the pot about the same tired old headline-making water-cooler fare that unreasonably detracts from the other 99.999999% of the sport getting a shred of attention.

Talk about whatever you want. :conf When do I delete anything?

All the Briggs nonsense will go in the Briggs thread. You can discuss it there.

All the Pac-May nonsense will go in the Pac-May thread. You can discuss it there.

All the Pac-Khan nonsense will go in the Pac-Khan thread. You can discuss it there.

All the Stiverne-Wilder nonsense will go in this one. You can discuss it there.

All the Klitschko-Lewis nonsense (though it has quieted down significantly) will go into "TKO in 6". You can discuss it there.

You realize that all of those subjects combined make up about 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of what there is to discuss about the sport?

Yet without the garbage being merged into those repositories 99.999999% of threads would be about those subjects, and even if some of those weren't started by trolls inevitably they would be overtaken by them. That is just a FACT, proven by simply looking back. Don't be mad at me. Be mad at what trolls have done - made it so we can't have nice things.

No. Currently casuals (primarily fan-boys and haters of Pac/May/Khan/Wilder/Stiverne/Briggs/Klitshcko) mainly want to talk about those things. I don't really care about the opinions or feelings of casual fan-boys & haters. They may comprise the majority but they're not, IMO, for whom the forum ought to exist. They have most of the rest of the internet to carry out their lame played-out arguments regarding the same old mainstream story lines. Twitter, blogs, etc. Part of improving this forum and changing the reputation it had as nothing but a troll wasteland is reclaiming it for the actual fans of boxing (not obsessive fans or haters of just one fighter, or casuals who only want to discuss one agenda-driven topic) by clearing up room for the other 99.9999999999999999% of the sport to be discussed.

Wilder is the real deal, everyone will see this in a few days. I cant wait. Wilder has ALL the pressure on him as well so really Stiverne goes into the fight with a huge advantage.

For the good of boxing, Wilder has to win. Stiverne has a boring personality, however Wilder is intelligent, funny and the best talker in boxing today. He is the whole package.

Finally people will see that Wilder is the real deal, finally!

Seriously what's nonsensical about this thread? Of all the troll threads circulating this forum, this one you choose to merge together. Its not like someone is making Stiverne vs Wilder thread every minute,so why destroy a thread that people are interested in? Dude you're just being unreasonable but whatever.
