The looptidity of this match makes me think Stiverne will manage to tangle Wilder up in his dreads and strangle him in deep water to a TKO win or DQ loss.

I just think the easier route would be to let the nonsense threads die...free market, let the readers decide what they want to comment on. And just ban the folks who want to keep making stupid threads about the same topic again and again. We all know the usual suspects when it comes to repetitive Floyd and Manny threads.

Especially at this time of year, there isn't much boxing going on to talk about. You have a very evenly matched heavyweight title fight in like 3 days which nobody can talk about because you keep merging everything and make the conversations untrackable.

I can kind of understand the Floyd/Manny one, but this latest one is ridiculous. Unless you want to start mass-merging threads each week on whatever fights are coming up that weekend.

Idea: Make a new sub-forum for the threads on fights you don't want to hear about. Move all the threads there if necessary, but it will allow us to actually talk on the interesting ones while the stupid ones die out.

Jaw made of pure Fine China, very Fragile is the Wilder!! :yep

He only wins if his power can have an impact on Stiverne like it did to
all the Taxi Drivers and Pizza Delivery Boys he's padded his record with!!

Stiverne tagged David Price at will, same size as Wilder, that 5 inches
won't be a factor, it'll come down to who lands the bombs and who can
    absorb the impacts!!

    Stiverne vs Demetrius King

    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CoJubjV8ETo

Pathetic Fast Stoppage, Stiverne was clowning which didn't help...

    Stiverne vs David Price

    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GHelbbjaB3k

had no problem hitting the white version of Beyonce Wilder!! :yep

:hey Price and Wilder are very similar, if Price would have sidestepped
Thompson he'd still be undefeated fighting Wilder opponents, they're the
same size, both destroyed Fraudley Harrison like he was a Taxi Driver!!

and both have Glass Mandibles!! :dead

I agree with everything you've written here, and I'm picking Wilder to win the fight easily. Sometimes a fighter with a rubbish resume beats a more established opponent. See recently Beterbiev who easily beat Cloud.

Yes, Wilder probably has a glass jaw, but you have to actually land a punch on it to beat him. And to land on Wilder you need legs. Stiverne is a slow, plodding punching bag who has decent counterpunching ability but Wilder has such a length advantage that Stivern will be unable to even get into the fight.

Wilder either wins by brutal KO or just wins 120-108.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Based on WHAT?? Five years of facing the worst tomato cans his management could drag out of the local bars where Wilder was scheduled to fight!?!?:nut:nut

And even with this pathetic "opposition" a couple of these stiffs had this glass jawed joke on the canvas!!

There is a reason Wilder fights set up fights against opponents who are SELECTED to lose. He has a glass jaw, and isn't really that good, period.:yep

Well, the jig is up. He has to fight a real fighter now. And his glass jaw is going to get smashed. Count on it.:deal

This makes a lot of sense and there's a good chance that everything you wrote here takes place in the next few years.

But how does Stiverne land a good punch on Wilder when he's a walking cement box? He has the SLOWEST feet I have ever seen. He's a punching bag, and when he throws back, Wilder will be at the right distance (Wilder has the length advantage here).

I suspect Wilder may just be content to stay on the outside and just jab Stiverne to a boring, one-sided points win.

But the most likely scenario is Wilder by KO. Either way, the fight is a mismatch between an A-level (albeit untested) fighter and a C-level fighter who is being overrated because of a win over another fat C-level journeyman.
