Bermane Stiverne had a legit illness that hospitalized and could have killed him read up http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/boxing...024914236.html He was not even half the boxer he could be on Jan 17. Wilder won't survive the rematch
Rhabdo isnt an illness. Its a physical reaction to extreme over-exertion(like, I dont know, fighting a 12 round heavyweight world title fight!) In other words, Wilder wore him out.
he was sluggish from start to finish its not like the first jab sapped all his enegy. he didn't throw a single combo till past the 6th round He may have gotten it from his roadwork in the desert. he was still doing morning and late night runs up till 2 days before the fight.
The day before at the press conference, he said he felt great. In the lead up, he said he had a great camp. Rhabdo isnt something the slowly works its way up on you. You do something way past what you're supposed to and you get it. If you have it you KNOW you have it.

He nknew his body wasn't right he had an ice bath the day of the fight to wake up his muscle. That's serve he knew something wasn't right with his body. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10153109698386042&pnref=story
