I think no one will be underestimating the other here. It seems from the picture above that they knew each other's capabilities pretty well.

Yes, that's the sad part of it ...but, then opportunity only knocks once and with the hope that somehow Abe can overcome JuanMa then his future would be secured. Again, its a fifty-fifty chance gamble on his part...

the thing is concpecion went life and death with a couple of journeymen. he is not ready yet. i know every fighter has a chance of winning a fight. i am not writing of concepsion in this match. all im saying is that his chance to win would generally be better if he'll fight for a title two years from now.

This page keep running up to 6th and still counting, but still cannot find the link of this news. I believed the Dece. 6 Dream Match was already made final. Arum no longer want another pinoy in the card.

For Concepcion, the opportunity to grab a crown is there. It's now or never.
We'll never actually what will happen until both fighters meet in the ring. Concepcion is a tough boxer. For sure, he will give Juanma a good fight, win or loss.

I rather have my prospect boxer going life and death in his fights and still winning than having him in strings of no-sweat easy fights. These kind of fights will make my boxer tougher and ready for more tough fights ahead.

these kind of fights will also leave your boxer wrecked like a jap rice burner going 100 mph against a reinforced concrete embankment. have we forgotten the lesson fernando vargas taught us?? even then, vargas was even more seasoned than concepcion when he fought trinidad. concepcion is what? 20-22? the kid's still got years ahead of him, he's not fighting on borrowed time. if they feed him to lopez right now, he ends up like that rice burner. yes, there is a chance for the upset. but nothing he's shown so far, leads us to believe he'd be capable of it.

There are advantages and disadvantages. JuanMa is a very good boxer but he's not unbeatable. Best option for Concepcion to have a crack on JuanMa's title (or Molitor's) than facing the likes of Caballero or Vazquez (or Rafa).

Concepcion has enough fights and been tested in many tough fights. I think he's ready for JuanMa.

It may be too early for concepcion, but anything can happen.. Just like what people think when Pac got his first shot to Barrera...And Pac brutalize Barrera... Win or loose for concepcion but it will be a good fight...And all the fans love to see this one.:happy

LASTEST News! The fight will not push through according to the manager.

Two reasons - the manager feels that it is not the right time (short in saying his boxer is not yet ready)

    - The time frame given is too short. One month preparation is not enough.

    - His next fight is tentatively scheduled on Dec 6 or7

    - If Concepcion performs well/impressive. They want to face steven Luvano

    Silvermags,

If that's true then too bad. Would have made an otherwise boring undercard into a top notch one. Although I agree that they would be pushing Conception too fast. Could be another Tito - Vargas.
