Richard Dobal Cordobas manager said before the fight that he took was disregarding the Martinez loss and saw Dunne as an unbeaten fighter as that loss said nothing about Dunne's skills.
If that is all you have to hold onto, that Munroe beat Martinez and so he would beat Dunne, then you have not got a clue.
If that is the case then Dunne would beat Caballero cos he just beat Cordoba, and Cordoba beat Caballero.

hey munroe has what it takes, he beat kiko so now he can beat molitor, ponce de leon and caballero because kiko beat dunne and dunne beat cordoba who beat caballero who beat molitor and beat de leon

I think that I did give Dunne credit...unlike Paddy McGinty and his oppo I just don't believe that he is anywhere close to world class, and given Cordobas performance tonight, neither is he.

As for disregarding first round knockouts, does this mean that Khan is still unbeaten?, no thought not, its bull****.

 

This is a fight munroe's manager turned down because he though he would get beat and Bernard beat Cordoba in an amazing fight. I don't know if Munroe can beat him but at least Peters has the balls to take a gamble on his fighters. Something English promoters should do in future!

 

What do you class as world class, top ten?? If so Cordoba, Dunne and Munroe are not top 15

By the way TFFP to answer your question on the first page, i had my doubt's about Dunne right up till the oppening bell tonight but he proved everybody wrong and as for improving he did a fine job after the two knockdown's. How close was it on the cards before the 11th?
I was trying to score but it's hard, the emotions might have been getting the better of me.

 

great point i forgot maloney saying on bunces boxing hour, why put rendall in against cordoba now to get beat when he can put him in against him after another 3 fights when he has a chance

it was a big risk by brian peters and it was a big big win, dunne showed his true credentials, if i also remember maloney said dunne would be getting destroyed and it would be his last fight

not to worry ill put franks comments down to his dislike for brian peters and not dunne

 

i had dunne up 2 going into the 11th without biased scoring as i didnt want to be emotionally destroyed by the judges, id say it was something similar for most people
