BERNARD DUNNE vs ISRAEL VASQUEZ coming soon

I'm not really a Munroe fan but I like to see these big British (and Irish) fights made and it seems Dunne and his team are the ones who are the least interested in making it happen.

 

Dunne wanted to fight Munroe for the Euro strap but Moloney said No and he said Dunne would be finished for ever when he lost to Cordoba , then Dunne wins and Moloney is crying out for a title fight

Dunne is a class above Munroe there is no question about it

 

Well I'm sure if you get on to Brian Peters and explain to him how you would love to see the Munroe fight he will rethink his plans for Dunne to fight his mandatory challenger and that nobody Israel Vasquez. Do you really believe that Dunne is ducking Munroe?

 

It is quite probable.

 

It's nowhere near probable. You do realise that Munroe is a much easier fight for Dunne than Poonsawat don't you? I mean Munroe isn't much of a puncher and has no big wins on his record, Poonsawat is a banger who has been in with Cordoba, Sithchhatawal and Sidorenko. If Dunne was going to duck either of these 2 it wouldn't be Munroe.

Anyway Poonsawat is Dunne's mandatory so he has no choice but to take the fight.

Obviously Munroe's camp does not share your confidence, if they did they would have taken any of the 3 career high paydays offered to fight Dunne, one offer stated that the fight could have been held in Nottingham so Munroe would still have home advantage.
You just said in another comment that you haven't seen Poonsawat fight so how can you predict he would beat Dunne?:roll:

 

Because I'm not overly impressed with Dunne and looking at Ponswaat's record and a few youtube highlights he looks like he's got the beating of him fairly easily.

I've seen his fights against Cordoba, Sithchatawal and Sidorenko. The only fighter similar to Dunne that poonsawat has faced is Cordoba and the Panamanian was robbed in that fight.This will be a tough fight for both Dunne and Poonsawat...I can't see it being easy for either man.

 

Great article Paddy, the thought Dunne is ducking Rendall Munroe to face his mandatory when his mandatory is a lot better than Munroe and a lot more suited to beating Dunne is ridiculous.

Munroe has to prove he's even up to the top of European level and fight Maludrottu before his team should even think of a World title.
