When Bernard Hopkins comes out in a wheel chair carrying an oxygen tank, bet against him. Until then, save your money.

I love this fight and I'm going with Hopkins.

Hopkins wants the fight, as others have said, because he sees flaws he thinks he can exploit in Pascal's game. And because if he beats the guy who beat Dawson, he shuts a lot of people up while cashing a good-sized check and collecting the Ring Belt at 175 lbs.

Pascal had some issues with Dawson's power. And he got tired about halfway through the fight.

Constantly circling the ring towards the opponants weak side then rushing in with a straight and finishing with body work. Sounds like bhop to me. difference is defense and bhop stays inside and does the grimey work. But I always invisioned bhop fighting that way against Dawson and pascal beat him to it.

It's pretty simple, he jumped on it because Pascal is a weak, vulnerable champion. I mean no disrespect but he obviously isn't as skilled as Dawson and doesn't pose the threat Dawson did. I give him credit for winning the Dawson fight, but I look at it as more what Dawson didn't do as opposed to what Pascal did do. That's just my opinion.

Thank you for saving me the time. Many on here like to point out "Frauds" and enjoy seeing guys "exposed" etc. If you can't see Pascal is a beneficiary of favorable circumstances and in some ways a "fraud" you will see first hand this is true after he is "exposed" by an old BHop. Dawson lost that fight more than Pascal won the fight. What I mean is that if Dawson had performed to his potential it would have been a relatively easy fight, he left the door open and to Pascal's credit he walked through it, but I have little respect for his overall skill set. I acknowledge that the 30 seconds per round that he did actually fight, he was decently fast and I conceed he has some pop, but with the workrate he demonstrated against Dawson combined with his obvious lack of conditioning he is going to sliced up by Hopkins. Hopkins age won't be a major factor because Pascal won't work hard enough to push Hopkins physical limitations, the pace will be in Hopkins favor and he will win this fight.

When 2 boxers have stamina problems, I don't see how one of them could be favoured. :think

Pascal wins nothing even if he does win. Most americans will still claim it was Hopkins who lost the fight and not Pascal who won it. There's nothing to do with the yanks. Sore losers.

I like this fight and hope it lands on Showtime and not a ppv. Even at this age Hopkins is a live underdog but I doubt he has the ability to still do the things he needs to do to beat Pascal. Hopkins has looked the most vulnerable that I have ever seen him in his last two fights and I think age has really gotten to him. But he's a master technician and if he can turn back the clock a bit he beats Pascal.

I like Hopkins but I'm pulling for Pascal. I'd like to see a Pascal-Dawson rematch and the 175 division was starting to weed out some of its old timers and getting some youth again. A Hopkins win would put a stranglehold on the division since he fights so infrequently. A Pascal win means some of the younger guys keep facing each other instead of positioning themselves for a shot at Hopkins.

expect this to be ignored, like most of Hopkins' faults.

Hello fellas i am a poster from the future and i can tell ya: that Bhop gets a draw at the first Pascal match, then wins the rematch in Montreal. Afterwards taking on Chad dawson, who throws him to the ground, and get ruled as a second round TKO. Which might get overturned.
