well no way can he get into the top 20 imo no matter what he does best he can hope for is top 30ish, and that middleweight list is so flawed it is unbelievable.

Top 40 up is an insult if ever. Inside top 20 is more like it.:deal

Like beating on smaller guys? That comes with staying in the division for a long period of time.

Possible win over JC at Bernard's age would be phenomenal and such a feat should deserve massive praise.

Right now, 21-30. He deserves to be among that company with the likes of Hagler, Arguello, Holmes, Hearns, Sanchez, and others. Some people may have those fighters higher or lower, but they are regularly rated just outside the top 20 by the majority IMO.

I have Hopkins higher than Calzaghe right now "pound for pound".

He can certainly get into the top 20 with a win over Calzaghe. If he beat him at this stage and at this age, it would be very arguable that he deserves a spot in the top 15.

hopkins is definitely not getting in top 15 p4p of all time, i think he may scrape top 25 if he beats calzaghe, if his only loss was to a prime RJJ then i would include him top 15, if people dont often consider RJJ top 15 and some people will argue mayweather will not scale the top 25 then i find it hard to believe hopkins will. if calzaghe beats hopkins 120 - 108 and is very dominant, how will this then affect hopkins legacy considering that hopkins may be considered old but cannot really be considered over the hill.

I think it would move Calzaghe up a considerable amount

    Absolutely NOT top 10!

As of now, I possibly have him top 40, right around there. You guys don't seem to realize how elite the top 10 is. Hopkins resume doesn't come within sniffing distance of it even if he beats Joe, which he won't.
