My sentiments exactly! However, there are people out there who do not appreciate the great boxer Hopkins is. Like the great man himself stated after the Pavlik fight, we should all try to enjoy him while he's still active because once he reitres permanently, it will be too late! Hopkins is the most dedicated sportsmen I've come across!
Here is a link to Don Famliton's training videos. Everyone will have an interest in these videos. Click on the link and you'll see more videos on the menu to the right. Stonehands, as you train boxers you might pick up one or two things out of these videos. It's Familton and his son Dean demonstrating. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QwVbSzY5F4
Great article thank you and I agree that his training videos are very good, he explains the basics so well.
He does explain things well. The speed of his speech is perfect to understand as well as his overall presentation.
How would anyone not get over it, regardless who it is? :think It's baffling how many people don't want their favourites to retire, it's like they'd prefer to see them go and until they receive a real good hiding. ps. I haven't watched a Hopkins fight since Round 5 of Taylor II (bar Calzaghe) so I wouldn't know. I switched off becuase that was so dull. But apparently he's been good since. Oh, I saw 'highlights' of the Wright fight (on Sky News). Obviously the 'best stuff' on offer convinced me not to delve any further.
The Winky fight was awful, I must say. Then again, few look good against Winky Wright. If you haven't seen the Hopkins v Pavlik fight, you may want to check it out. He looked 100% better in that one.
You know, I enjoyed the Wright fight. I was fascinated how Hopkins totally destroyed Wrights game. It was surely not a fihgt you would watch again but I was baffled by what B-Hop did.
