Which fights do you think displayed B-Hops best boxing performance? He's had so many fights showing his brilliance but what is your favorite if you had to choose one?

I think his fight against then unbeaten Glen Johnson showed him at his most complete IMO. One of his more overlooked fights.

His performance against Tito Trinidad is one of the best pure boxing displays i have ever seen, thats my pick.

Is and always will be Tito. That was a masterclass performance.

Second, I would say Pavlik. It was embarrassing how much better he was than Pavlik. Hopkins was a 3/1 underdog coming into the fight if you can believe that with some claiming they feared from Hopkins' health. Pavlik didn't even land one flush right hand.

The Glen Johnson fight is his most complete performance. In his physical prime, decent speed, aggressive varied attack, good movement, still hard to hit and an impressive work rate, he threw well over a 100 punches in several rounds of that fight.

Though in terms of significance the Tito or Tarver win are better.

Which is why it makes me laugh when the Calzaghe dick riders on here make out the 43 year-old version that their hero luckily scraped past, was just as good as the Hopkins from around the time he destroyed granite chinned Johnson was.

Tito def for me then Johnston

Think the Pavlik win also deserves a special mention, Pavlik was undefeated, the undisputed middleweight champ, younger etc etc and BHOP as usual dismantled him and took him to schoooooool

Trinidad for the magnitude of the fight.
Cloud for schooling a title holder at the age of 48.

    Roy jones jnr

Before bhop only one man had survived jones

Bhop not onl survived but won rounds and forced jones to work os 116-112 win

After bhop jones kod malinga who had never previously been kod , not even benn or eubank could ko malinga

I think a green hopkins being able to push the greatest natural talent in boxing history to the limit is incredible

I wish they had a rematch a few years later
