The great of all time was a 147 fighter , so im not sure what the point is.

Fighters from the lower weights who move up tend to be better in all departments other than size , so being fighters who move up is not a negative.

    Robinson
    Hagler
    Monzon
    Jones Jr
    Gibbons
    Hopkins
    Burley
    Tiger
    Walker
    Toney.

That's my top 10 MW list. Let's look at the best victory of each fighter

    Robinson: LaMotta
    Hagler: Hearns
    Monzon: Griffiths
    Jones Jr: Hopkins
    Gibbons: Lewis
    Hopkins: Tito
    Burley: Williams
    Tiger: Fulmer
    Walker: Flowers
    Toney: Nunn

Almost all MW greats have a WW as their standout victory. I don't personally think contextually it's a good idea but it almost always gets looked back on fondly.

Right now I see Brook in a win-win and don't see how he can lose face here. I also struggle to see how Golovkin can gain legacy wise. But history shows that even with a weight discrepancy, f a fighter seen as great, a victory over them is seen as great.

You have Hagler's victory over Duran as better than his victory over Hearns, amongst others?

I think the majority of people would say his win over Tommy was his best win. But of course, Tommy also started out at the lower weights.

Monzons best win was against Nino. That's what made him from unknown to superstar.

I get that, but Hagler beat several very good middleweights and for some reason, doesn't get credit for it.

Benvenuti was a great win. As was Griffiths and Napoles.

Brook isn't even a footnote in Welterweight history - let alone a great fighter at the weight.

Bumlokvin fighting Brook is AT BEST a circus act...

Not at best. At best Brook goes on to become a great fighter.

As it is right now, let's say G stops Brook and then Brook retires, I agree with every word.

Well, in fact, Brook isn't a great fighter. He isn't even the #1 guy in his own weight class.

Bumlovkin Brook is nothing more than a dog and pony show. This is NOT a real fight..
