I thought haney would be too big and win 8-4 but was shocked when he was mentally broken in his corner inbetween one of the late rounds and i had loma winning 7-5

Idiot. Loma won at least 8 rounds. PBC still.

Everyone knows Loma was robbed. Even with a 20lb weight advantage, just under six inches in reach, at least a 36 hour weigh in (criminal), and home advantage, and Loma being an old 35 with a ton of wear and tear on his body and considerably past his prime it wasn't advantageous enough for that gigantic weight bully to legitimately win

And of the 118k who took part in FightHub's poll only 17k had Haney winning IIRC

That's by far the largest poll I've ever seen conducted for a fight, like 10 times the size of any other if not more.

But once again the cartel stacked the deck with a home ref and three home judges over there for world title fights which literally never happens anywhere else in the world for ones between home vs away fighters. Hence why foreigners are always getting robbed over there.

When Haney fought Kambosos in Australia and Fulton fought Inoue in Japan none of the officials came from Australia or Japan

And even Haney knows he lost because he ran from the rematch like a thief in the night even though he would've still had all those advantages and everything heavily stacked in his favour, Loma would've been even older, and he knows that the vast vast majority of fans across the world had him losing.

Has anyone dug into how Americans get away with all US judges?

To my knowledge judges are appointed by the sanctioning bodies not the local Boxing commissions, so there is no reason why they should be having all American officialdom for every US vs foreign fighter

At the very minimum, Boxing reform should entail having neutral officials

The 36 hour weigh in bugs me too, don't think Loma's team objected but they should have considering how much Haney rehydrates

Doubtful, I'm one of the only people who even mentions it

Women's boxing pioneer Jane Couch MBE is the first person I ever saw mention it and that was way back in 2011. I started checking fighter's records to see how commonplace it was (very) a long time ago and as I was doing so I also noticed it never happens anywhere else

Yes, you had a 36 hour weigh in for a fight between literally the smallest 135 pounder and the biggest one I've ever seen

I gave Haney 7 rounds. The rounds that Loma did win, he was much more dominant. It was clear who was the overall better fighter in the end. He just gave up too many of the early rounds. Not sure was his fans are so uncompromising. This was not a robbery.

Ofc it was not a robbery. But there is a moment when I just have to stop arguing with deeply invested emotional nuts-huggers.

You will see this thread recreated once and again and again and again.... the same as floyd castillo, canelo gg or even hagler leonard. No matter how many good arguments you give, they just dont care. Most of the people in those future threads will not even have scored the fight in their lives... the scorecards do not matter to them, it's all about emotions (and probably homosexual tension too in some cases).

The Cartel huh quite an assessment one that I've not heard before.

Another interesting topic is to notice how Bill Haney who permeates constant sewage on a daily basis in behalf of his youngin has turned quite the cheek after that disastrous duel with Lomachenko.

He has disappeared from the camera like a ghost in the night and has seized his daily blog interviews quite the turn around for Sr don't say?

Hard to believe it's just merely coincidence or incompetence

Interesting. I haven't been paying attention but I guess I would've caught something had he not done so. Pair of clowns both of them.

Because he put too much trust in the judges to do the right thing. Didn’t realize exactly what he was up against fighting here in the states. Bottom line.

I’d bet anything now he wouldn’t ever take the 11th or 12th off. Unless he was fighting in a place like Poland or Ukraine. THEN he could take the 12th “Off” (He played it safe but didn’t take it off) and easily win a 116-112 type victory. Which in reality is what he should have got.

Now the Teo fight, eh… I don’t have a problem with people thinking he lost that one. Personally I thought it was a draw. And I definitely think there should have been a rematch. But Loma taking the 12th round easier in that one was more to do with both his shoulder injury and also the fact he didn’t want to walk into anything big and ruin any chances he had on the cards. In his mind he really felt Teo hit mostly gloves that fight with the exception of a few good shots. Loma landed WAY MORE clean effective shots that Teo in that one.

Still… that fight was way more competitive than the haney fight.
