I see you are serious and in theory almost everything is possible. You also give a nice analysis. But my common sense just CAN'T see B-hop beating Wlad.

 

wlad could beat hopkins off his jab alone... blasting hopkins with straight, sharp, piston jabs..

if he unleashed his straight right and left hooks wlad would give hopkins a concussion with the first shot that he landed, even if hopkins had his gloves up he would be rocked back with every punch.. wlad landing on hopkins arms would damage them

 

rachman hits alot harder than hopkins and wlad was anything but scared in that bout... which bout are you even talking about wlad being scared. he ran down sultan, blasted out brewster, austin, brock, thompson, byrd and rachman and was definatly the agressor in all of those fights..

I am almost 6'1 and had 185 pounds at one time, if standing next to wlad i would look like a midget! even bulking up to 200 pounds wouldn't change much. not to speak of the strength advantage. bernard has never tasted anything similar as wlad's right hand, plus as both like to clinch, wlad's extra 40 pounds would wear bernard down.

 

Wlad is an extremely careful fighter. Scared is something else. But he is damn careful and doesn't like to get hit at all.

 

Same could be said about Jones vs Ruiz or De La Hoya vs Pac I think..

 

except that ruiz sucked in the first place and de la hoya was apparently shot. wlad is the #1 and in his prime, so no chance for whatsoever for hopkins.

 

Hopkins would end up a headless racist.
