    Hopkins was a SMALL 175lbs'er.
IF he goes up to 200lbs and looks cut, I will seriously suspect steroids are in.
If he goes up beyond that and fights Wladimir, and wins on top of that which will never happend but I am just saying, something is ****ing fishy.. alright?

Bernard had trouble with Jermains jab in the rematch. End of thread.

So he gets worn down to a nub and dry humped by Calzaghe, and now he's going to beat Wlad? Makes sense to me :patsch:patsch:patsch

Why should anyway listen to you Jeff?

You claim to have called the Pac-DLH fight and Hopkins-Pavlik fight, like most of us did, and think that makes you an expert.

Look at your woeful record on Kirk's prediction league.

You don't know the first thing about boxing.

Thats just ****ing ridiculous. It doesnt even merit fantasy speculation. Its the equivalent of Pacquiao moving up to 175 and fighting Chad Dawson.

Well i would really like to see such a fight and I think a lot of people would. Win or loose, fight would be legendary for Hopkins, because even daring to step in would say something... If Hopkins gets past Adamek and would somehow beat Klitchko he would instantly become legend, like greatest boxer ever lived. Even now he has achieved so much, but that fight would be above everything. Also it seems he is now motivated only to beat best white fighters (Calzaghe, Pavlik, Adamek). And Klitchko is now best fighter in the world (white or green), so I think Hopkins would be hugely motivated for that fight...
Actually if fight would not be competitive at all, i still would like to see Hopkins knocked out, because he has never been even hurt in fight. Would be interesting to see how he looks like in real trouble :)

Hopkins has been down and hurt before. Mercardo dropped him twice.

If Hopkins was a true heavyweight and still had his skill then i'd completely agree, but someone who fought at 160lbs for that many years balloooning up (muscle or not) to 200lbs would get seriously seriously hurt at his age fighting Wladimir.

Wlad by brutal homicide. Hops said himself he's not stupid and would never fight the Klitschkos. But Hops is interested to fight Chagaev.

Current Hops against Ali, Marciano, Dempsey, Patterson, even Joe Louis might be interesting fights.

As much as i actually like both fighters and Wlad would murder Hopkins.

The only reason he was dropped and hurt were the circumstances of the fight.... mostly the location (altitude)
He rematched and demolished Mercardo after that.

I do not think Hopkins has ever truly been in any trouble when not fighting on top of a mountain.

He'd beat Chagaev or Valueless with ease.
