Say what you want but the fact that Golovkin is not the undisputed middleweight champion isn't his fault at all.

 

TBH I'd rather see GGG take BHop's place at the announcing table...now THAT would be funny.

Otherwise....there is no Joe Calzaghe, or Jermaine Taylor, or Chad Dawson (has moved up to HW), or Kelly Pavlik, to get lose to. I guess GGG can get DLH back in the ring. RJJ is always available as well. Both were either weight drained or WAY past their due by date when BHop beat them, but let's not let details get in the way.

Of course winning against the likes of Beibut Shumenov, Karo Murat and
Enrique Ornelas is something to be very, very, proud of.

 

Wait, what? First off many though Hopkins beat Taylor, and even if you don't think he did, Taylor was in his prime and didn't take all the damage he has now. Second, there is no evidence Hopkins has taken PED's and Tarver was the champ at light-heavyweight beating Jones and Johnson.

 

C'mon give Hopkins some credit. He continuously proved his doubters wrong and has almost always fought the best when he himself was not.

Golovkin is trying to become the undisputed middle weight champion. It's not his fault if Mayweather's leftover holds a title.

 

Good points! I was basically having a bit of fun playing devil's advocate but you have a serious mental hurdle to overcome if you feel Hopkins has never used PED's. They all use, some more than others and Hopkins comfortably falls into the more than others category.
