Because he wants to stay as close to 154 in case of a Floyd fight. That is unless there's a big money fight. We've been over this.

Honestly confused on this one. Catchweights don't mean you're fighting at the division above.

That was boxing pushing Hopkins out. Out w the old and in w the new. Bhop clear as day won both fights w Taylor and calzaghie. Taylor fights were closer but he didn't take the belt from the champ. The calzaghie fight was a masterpiece. Prob on of Hopkins finest performances. Joe and his dads convo after round 11 is classic.

Because Chavez Jr and Froch are both much bigger draws, bringing more money, and easier fights. Andre Ward is clearly a step above Carl Froch and way better than Chavez jr, so K-2 wanted a 50/50 weight split so it would be a fair fight, but Ward ducked.
K-2 was willing to give up the huge size advantage to Froch or Chavez, and travel to wherever they wanted, because GGG would beat the sh!t out of them regardless and the money is more worth the potential risk. But then they ducked GGG also.
Is this really that complicated to you? If so, I'll be happy to help if you are confused about anything else.

Show me one that the G team has sent to Ward. You, GGG and everybody on this forum knows that GGG don't want none of Ward. I don't blame him because an ass whooping would take away that air of invincibility that he has so carefully built up. It just makes good business sense.

I wish Cotto and those other guys agreed with you.

They very clearly do. The limit for 147 is 147. If you fight at a catchweight of 148, you are fighting at jr middle, because that division is 148-154. You can do it with any weight division. Go ahead and try it yourself with, say, 172.
Damn, I'm so helpful today. Any other questions from the class?

Me to. The haters actually love the fact that the name fighters duck GGG. They know damn well none of these guys can beat him, so they are relieved every time a name fighter ducks that beast so they can continue bashing his resume.
It is so fcuking pathetic really

To get a contract sent to you you actually have to show interest fighting the fighter calling you out.

Golovkin management have made it clear that they're not interested in a Ward fight.

Don't worry, even if he beat Cotto, Canelo and Froch they'd be Floyd and Ward left overs and he'd still be fighting "bums".
