This content is protected Keep in mind that he was asked about his diet. He's not right. I've watched parts of a few clips cause no way I'm watching this garbage. He needs help. Pretty sure this is the worst interview of all time.
He’s always talked like that. This happens when a low IQ person tries to use ornamental speech to explain very simple ideas.
Nah. Sure, he does that. But he's completely going off the rails now. I've seen Hopkins talk a million times earlier in his career, he wasn't like this.
Not a fan of Rogan either although I did just recently watch a clip of this interview earlier today where Hopkins talks about his mindset to succeed at his age. I agree that he does seem off. I think the damage he ate throughout the years might be catching up to him although when looking back at his career it shouldn't be too surprising considering he went to war with so many people. Getting pummeled by Kovalev and sparked by Joe Smith Jr I'm sure doesn't help.
LOL. DON'T CALL IT A COME BACK!!!! Well any thought I had of making a come back is now quashed. LL COOL J - Mama Said Knock You Out (Official Music Video) - YouTube
Some of what he says makes sense and I know what he's trying to say. How he's still living like a boxer in many respects with the healthy way of life, getting sleep. Training, not out partying. Staying in '' 100 '' When he refers to the '' resume '' he's referring to the resume of life. And on the '' when they think I'm not looking '' he means you find out their true colours. The so called '' friends '' People might be all rosey and happy to your face. What are they like behind your back. Will they ackowledge you if you don't know they're in their presence ( according to him, they think you don't know ) About the studio he knows who's to his left, who's to his right. Without even looking. It's that animal perception of things. Hunter or prey. Kill or be killed. A heightened sense of awareness, eyes in the back of your head so to speak. Great peripheral vision. Certainly he's not 100 percent with it. But amongst the mumbo jumbo. I understand parts of what he's saying.
Meh... He's pretty well good from the baseline he has exhibited over the past 30+ years in the lime light. A little bit searching for words, a little random segues but I followed it all. No slurring, no mush mouth. If you don't expect some degradation from a guy who spent 3 plus decades in the ring, mostly against top level guys, then you are living in fantasy land. This sport exhausts exactly what and who it celebrates. Bernard, at this point, is still on the winning side of the equation.
I think some people forget that a lot of elderly people, who never fought a day in their life, also end up with various levels of dementia or senility. Obviously, the vast majority of these symptoms in boxers are caused by CTE. But at least some of them were going to have cognitive problems regardless, right? He goes off on a lot of tangents and sometimes loses his train of thought a bit. But he still seems mostly "there" to me.
He’s slipping for sure. Going off in all different directions. His head is definitely on a swivel, just not a good thing.
Yeah... he was always very eloquent as a fighter; you can see how he's searching for that vocabulary he used to have. It's weird because I never saw him take any serious punishment in the ring. Maybe he just fought for too long...
Getting hit in the head regularly isn't good for you. Do it for a prolonged period and until you are over 50 and it's even worse. Not surprised in the least BHop is starting to show signs of being messed up. I would be surprised if he wasn't.
There's no fluidity to his speech, and it's not connected at all. But he seems Cognizant. He hasn't lost all his marbles.... Yet.
