I think he's just a bit of a control freak to the point of when asked a very clear question and if he doesn't see value in the question or the answer, he wants to control the narrative and put something of what he considers to be valuable out there for people to hear, even if it means going off on a tangent.

I understand it to a certain degree, it's like when people want to talk about a certain subject matter but they're missing the whole point.

Take this Gaza Israel situation for example, people want to know who you stand with. It's like who would want to stand with either? It's been going on for decades and both sides are full of psychos and religious wackos, how about they put the guns down and the bomby wommy's away and have a civilised conversation about peace and the avoidance of a major catastrophe? Like how we do in the West.
