I know it defies logic, but his peak really is at 130 with his second best stint at 147.

His resume at 154 (Oscar, Cotto, Alvarez) destroys his resume of 140 (Corley, Bruseles, Gatti) in terms of greatness. And likely 135 for those who feel Castillo won their first fight especially.

He certainly gets props from me, but he hasn't beaten an ATG in their prime.

So I can't class up there with SRL for example, on resume.

Then I have to ask, that had Floyd been around in the 80's, would he have fought Pryor, Duran, Benitez, SRL and Hearns, had he have had the opportunity to do so?

    I'm going to say no.

Then I ask, if he had have done, would he have beaten them all?

    I'm going to say no.

Finally, if I match him with Ray on a p4p rating, and do a breakdown of skills, does he come out on top?

Again, I'm going to say no.

So I can't say that Floyd is as good as Ray Leonard as a fighter, and he hasn't got a resume to match in my opinion.

So I don't agree with Bernard.

    Get real.

Yes, he struggled with weight, but he didn't have to fight a peak Hearns and Hagler did he?

As if Floyd would have done the same thing, if he'd have got the same opportunity.

Pacquiao would have never beaten Mayweather. Fine.

I honestly don't think I've ever seen another fighter who thinks and acts as quickly as Floyd. Nothing really phases him either. I really don't know what you're supposed to do against him. I've always rated his ability tremendously high, but he's more special than I'd previously given him credit for. He just doesn't make mistakes, complete dedication to his craft.

Absolute haters. He is top 10 at the very least. No-one, bar no-one is as dominant as him. Name me someone?

That's true to an extent, but what would have happened if he'd have fought 27 year old versions of Mosley and Oscar?

I think Floyd is both underrated and overrated at the same time by guys on here.

The guy's a genius, and nothing much has fazed him. But again, he's never beaten an ATG in their prime.

In an earlier era, Pryor, Duran, Leonard and Hearns would certainly have fazed him.

You have to put things into perspective.

Just to add, I think Floyd would definitely have beaten Manny.

Top 10 based on what ? Cherry picking .Its easy to dominate when you hand picked guys and never faced a legend in their prime !! Beating faded legends and guys who are not even close to your league does not make you a top 10 atg no matter how popular he is too his fans !

Floyd has weak resume, it's composed of carefully hand picked opponent. He is not even top 30.
