It's not MMA that's harming boxing anyway. Boxing is.

Dana does hate Bob Arum, but then so do most boxing fans.

As Teeto said though, it's like football Vs rugby. They both involve a ball bit are completely different. You don't see Many boxing fans criticising judo or K-1, so I don't know why the fear of MMA?!

@Teeto, as for your Facebook, your mates are obviously on a wind-up. Don't let them
Speak for MMA fans in general mate :thumbsup

 I'm not paranoid mate i'm only having a laugh. I've seen a few MMA fights but just can't get on with it. I'm not a fan of the grabbling on the floor as it is too slow for my liking

I'm not having a go mate, it was just contrary to what Teeto said about 'I never see boxing fans having a go' or whatnot, each to their own I say :good

And yet when he gave it the time of day he too respected the sport. I'm sure you do as well, as I say, rugby Vs football was a great comparison made by Teeto.

flea, my mates aren't on a wind up

they are nowadays, but that's only because I've put them in their place so many times over the years, in the beginning they were all over this 'boxing is dead' blah blah blah and could never get boxing out of their mouths, pretty pathetic

I think it's pretty mad to think that the boxing vs MMA ridiculous 'feud' started anywhere but with MMA fans.

Boxing and rugby, apples and carrots, enjoy what you enoy, that should be all there is to it

when I see all the ufc fans (in my own experiences, and not to say that's what it is everywhere else, but in my experiences it's a load of bouncers and twats who love acting hard) and they always wanna talk about how Brock Lesnar would batter Floyd Mayweather in a street fight

    the most ******ed **** ever

it's like saying Jean Pascal would beat Will Smith in a game of chess

this Joe Rogan guy is pathetic

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUJMDCby60k[/ame]

Lou Di Bella is asked his opinion on MMA, and he gives it.

Joe Rogan thenjust starts talking about boxing, without even being asked about it, and starts a slandering match. All of the MMA fans I know in reality mirror what this guy just did in this video, that's all I'm saying. More power to the MMA fans and I hope they enjoy it and discuss it amongst each other to much success.

I find MMA pretty dull to watch and lacking the drama of boxing at its best, but it's an interesting technical sport. A lot of interesting technique, style clashes, and subtleties that are developing more and more (the ground game is very unappreciated because it's low impact in many ways).

it appears UFC has peaked in popularity for now until it gets a home on a basic cable network in the US. It will eventually though because its demographic is so clearly the one for advertisers.

Boxing could learn a lot from how it's set up.

what I like about ufc is its infrastructure, you get the fights you want, I would love that in boxing but it will never happen

    Lol @ lack of drama.

Have you seen how much ****ing hugging is done in Boxing?

The biggest draw (Floyd) happens to be the most unentertaining Boxer around!

I love Boxing, and i love MMA, but let's not act like every Boxing match leaves you on the edge of your seat...

Ok, with Hopkins you CAN get a masterclass, but **** me you can get one of the most boring fights that you will ever lay eyes on!

Same with watching Wladimir or Ward fight.

Not exactly all Fireworks with this lot is it? And this lot are THE BEST of the bunch.

What i love about the UFC in paticular is that the best fighters WILL fight each other.

Look at Bute... Who has he fought? Yet he's called "Elite". He hasn't even fought an Abraham yet.

Look at the circus act that is the Pac/Floyd saga... Say no more!

Both have their negative points, but sometimes when i watch a Boxing match i'll be bored stiff. Likewise with an MMA bout as well.
