Very few boxers can do what Hopkins did to Pavlik. I also beleve that despite Pavlik's height he is best suited for 160 and should spend his career there. My opinion of Pavlik is that like a lot of very good boxers he fights with his hart rather than his brain. When a boxer who fights with his hart fights boxer who fights with his brain, the boxer who uses his brain usualy wins. Hopkins boxes with his brain and is very good at it. He also has the skills and experance to put everything together. I can't think of anyone at 160 who beats him right now and that inclueds Abraham who from what I have seen of him is a lot like Pavlik and Wright who I think has exlent if not the best "textbook" boxing skills among active boxers. I think Wright despite having outstanding skills is slightly over ratted and is best suited for 154.
Even though I think he is best suited for 160 I think Pavlik can work his way to victories over a lot of very good 168 and posibily 175 ers. Even getting titles in those devisions.
Pavlik will probbly lose again. He is what i call a loss waiting to happen (there are others but that is not the theme of this thred or post.) However his career is far from destroyed.

This is rubbish...Pavlik is still young. He just needs to work on cutting off the ring. I'm glad Corrales and W Klitschko didn't listen to this kind of criticism!!
