Hopkins won't win but he won't get pounded. I think that's a stretch considering noone has "pounded" Hopkins in his career.

I see a close decision win for Pavlik.

i had winky up 6 rounds to 2 going into the 9th. he was beating b hop handily to me. then that extra weight kicked in and he just completely lost it. b hop took the last 4 and i scored it a draw. when i heard the final scores i was shocked though. if you had b hop winning ok. but like that...no way. they chose who the winner was gonna be from the start. even though winky looked awful in those last 4 rounds and could've lost the fight, i still think at 160 winky would've taken b hop hands down.

Between hard punches and stamina, Hopkins can get awfully slow by the end of the fight.

The sad part about this fight is All Pavlik has to do is be still standing at the final bell. Theres no way in hell Bernard could win a decision that was proved in nthe taylor and calzaghe fights

Winky is not that much smaller than Hopkins

And Tarver is bigger than Hopkins but still got his ass handed to him.

You mention the Winky fight but not the Tarver fight, a fight he was a serious underdog in.

I still give Hopkins a lot of credit for beating Tarver the way he did. But, he did get outclassed by Taylor and especially Calzaghe. Hopkins let Calzaghe ridicule him in the ring. When Calzaghe did that thing from behind to him, he should have attacked Calzaghe. But, he didn't. Hopkin's style makes it tricky for everyone. But, if Pavlik can double or even triple the jab and fight smart every round, you might see Hopkins get knocked out.

Well, he's lost against 3 very good fighters. It's not like he lost to journeyman or something.

Bernard was hit low from what I saw. Whether it actually hurt him we don't know. I wish everyone would stop crying about him making up the low blows, you can turn on FNF's and see any pro fighter milk a low blow about once every two weeks (and we don't know if hopkins was hurt by the low blow, he may have been).

Yes he was tired, big deal. a lot of younger fighters would've been tired dealing with that spastic ****** (calzaghe).

And to the posters who said calzaghe was gonna ko hopkins if he didn't "milk the low blow":

All five fights were against world champions who have/had a case for ranking on pound-for-pound lists themselves, and the losses were all very close decisions Hopkins arguably won.
