As much as I dislike this *****, I gotta say that his level of competition is not only very high but also very versatile. He fought different styles, big punchers in Castillo, Coralles, Gatti, he also fought bigger guy in De La Hoya, he fought guys with ugly styles like Hatton and he fought speedsters like Mitchell or Judah. Now he is fighting JMM who has tremendous skills.

bhops mad that floyd chewed up hbo's budget so that he can't get paid what he wants for a fight, floyd's been through adversity, look at judah punching him in the dick and then the back of the head, corley hit him flush with some solid shots, castillo1 and 2 were tough fights but its true we've never seen him in the really deep water

are you saying that hopkins hasn't followed floyds career, or that any one who thinks hes a buisnessman before a fighter hasn't followed his career. there is no one else on this forum who divides opinion like mayweather!

Hopkins missed the mark here, just because Floyd performed way better than his opponents dont mean Floyd will crack.Great fighters are not those who necessarily find themselves in trouble, its those who anticipate problems and solve the problems before they arise.Floyd is a great fighter because only in the Castillo fight was he under pressure because of an injured hand

Gatti and Castillo are big punchers no ****ing doubt about it. Castillo had 51 KOs in 68 fights, only going the distance against the very top fighters with good chins like Mayweather or Casamayor. Gatti was a punching machine throughout his career who lacked boxing skills.

No one can deny what Hop says. He has avoided big aggressive fighters since Castiilo. Even his biggest fans have to admit. Margarito and Cotto would have given him hell even in a losing effort. Please don't bring up Shane because we all know he is 100% more aggressive than Floyd and Physically stronger by a stretch.

Oscar De La Hoya said that Gatti was the hardest puncher he ever fought, which I find hard to believe but you have to take a guy at his word I guess. Either way, Gatti near his prime was dangerous for any fighter. Castillo was just a runaway freight train in his prime, he didn't need to land many shots to hurt you badly.

People talk about Chavez, Corley, Hernandez like they were bums, but they were all world champs and he fight them at or near their best. I love Hopkins to death, but he should know better than to talk **** on a guy who supposedly picks on smaller fighters and fights nobodies.
