Bernard hopkins hasn't had a signifcant win since 2005

    After the howard eastman fight,his next win was against antonio tarver,which was tainted due to tarver being weight drained.And he beat winky wright and kelly pavlik at 170,we all know thats well above their natural weight,so those are two other tainted wins.Then he beat a nobody fighter,then a past prime roy jones,then pascal.It's very hard to know how good pascal is,because he beat dawson and dawson was going through some personal problems and may have had an injured shoulder.So who knows how good bernard still is?There is NO REASON to beleive he can beat dawson.

    I smell a 20 page long flamewar coming...

    Or I can just cut it off right here. Of all the stupid things I've read on this site (and the stupid comments outnumber the intelligent ones about 10 to 1 here), this might be the dumbest thing I've read. I dislike Hopkins, but he's beaten three guys who were P4P top 10 since then, claimed a light heavyweight title from the consensus #1 in the weight class and won the true light heavyweight championship of the world. All of that is significant. Were there some mitigating factors? Sure, but he's accomplished quite a bit.

    since eastman, by my cards i have him beating taylor, tarver, wright, calzaghe, pavlik, jones and pascal x2. that's actually 8 significant victories. against the 3 best mw's, the 2 best lhw's and the best smw.
