When did he ever NOT defend himself well? I'm going to miss this guy when he retires. He's the best interview of this generation along with Toney. But you can't understand half the sh*t Toney saids.

something about Hopkins and Toney, when they speak you feel you need /want to listen. I think they call it charisma.

He didn't say he would never get paid again, he was talking about getting paid to fight some joke like Hakkar and he was right. That garbage had no business on being on HBO, hell it had no business being on Best Damn Sports Show

I liked the team of Gil Clancy and Tim Ryan. Just professionals doing their job and knowledgeable about boxing. On the other hand, at some point someone should have pressed RJJ (maybe not right after a fight) about his list of below average opponents at some point. It makes it much harder to really know how good RJJ was in his prime. Obviously he was really, really good and did beat some top fighters, but he could have made it a point to fight some of the other beltholders.

HBO loves a good bandwagon, they always talk **** on fighters when it becomes popular to do so and suck their dicks when its the same

RJJ went to Lht Hw and was taking peoples belts. And did so in dominant fashion.

Despite his limited vocab and poor use of English, believe it or not Bernard Hopkins is actually quite an intelligent fellow.
