For those with some real knowledge, how does Bernard Hopkins keep "Father Time" at bay and stay at this elite level? I'm 37 yo and I can feel that while I'm in great shape, my body does not recover quite like it did at 27.

    Any intelligent thoughts welcomed.

Always in condition and on the weight near enough, plus lives the life. Plus a very good skill set, for how He fights, great sense of range and employment. But watching Him bores the s**t out of me, but still watch Him just in case :D

Bodyweight progressions, kettlebells, and static stretching on days you're not working out.

And protect your body. Don't do anything stupid.

The man asked a question, small pecho.

This is not the answer he wanted, nor anticipated.

Get with the program, small pecho.

Small pecho, you can't do the stuff I can do, but I can do the stuff you can do better.

    You're just mentally weak.

    You don't have it.

You got dealt a small pecho and you got to deal with it.

    Now, deal with it.

"Get the job done" style where he rides the rules rather than trying to rev up the crowd

Eating healthy (I remember years back him saying he just eats plain food, no spices or condiments, just veggies and lean meat)

And yes lately not fighting the best competition

For a person that praises so much bodyweight training and kettlebels and has so much different names here you dont have any videos of you doing all of that mighty stuff you are saying. :think
Can it be that you are full of **** and cant do half of the stuff you say?
That would be natural for you cause you dont know basic fundamentals of training Roach/Hendo/Tj Max/Piece.
    :hi:
Dont make me dig up you old posts. Its going to be a laugh factory here.:hey

And this is you answer why Hopkins is always in such a good shape all year round.
The guy is a machine, his life is boxing. No smoking, partying, drinking, whoring around. His defense his great and his ring iq is superb. The thing is his fundamentals are great and always in condition.
I read somewhere that the fighters who trained with him said that if this is what makes a champion that for them it isnt worth it.

Go ahead and dig up whatever you want.

When traffic stops, there is only one dude in the city hangin side ways on the street sign.

    And it ain't you.

You weak. You got that small pecho.

Kettlebells and bodyweight training...the wave of the future.

If I could find a way to elminate kettlebells, I would...

But I like them. Look at your animosity towards me. Your anger.

    Why?

Only because I'm trying to think outside the box. I already lifted conventionally, more than you ever could.

But here's the difference. I wasn't even a lifter. I was an athlete.

    You ARE the lifter.

    How pathetic are YOU?

But let's not turn this into a name calling situation, small pecho.

Youre boring roach. No athlete would spew stupid bull**** like you do, grow up baby.
Im not a lifter, never was, i was a amateur boxer who implemented his game with everything not just weights.
You never lifted and you dont do anything except creating new names on esb, now thats pathetic.
Im just calling you out on all of your stupid animosity to weights, your very low training knowledge and homophobic remarks.:hi:
