This quote is going around online as of a few hours ago. Assuming B-Hop could get to 160 (I think he could) does he have a chance. I'm intrigued, but I'm not sure I want to see it, lol.

Anyways, what do you all think of this?

Not going to happen, they are too far in weight for it to mean anything.

Floyd would UD him, but I think Hopkins, with the way he lives his life it would be possible for him up make weight.

A drained B-hop who would rehydrate to a light heavyweight vs a Floyd who would be 150 or slowed down and bloated at 160.

Floyd would UD a 6'1 fully slick and black hard to hit crafty living legend B-Hop? :patsch

This is B-Hop we are talking about here. I'm not saying B-Hop is way way skilled than Floyd but in terms of slickness and defense, they are almost the same and B-Hop like i said is way way bigger, taller and if guys in the middleweight and lt heavyweight is having a hard time hitting B-Hop, you really think a 5'8 Floyd can?

    :patsch

This fight would go like Toney's domination of an ancient but proud Holyfield.

Mayweather would weighin at 154 lbs and kick the snot out of Bernard Hopkins at 160 lbs!

If its a few dollars he wants Hopkins should just show up against Ward and let him KHTFO!

bore fest. never happen, but would be better than the alternatives being discussed. Quite frankly, he should fight Sergio at 154 next year.

Martinez begged for a fight at 154 lbs against Mayweather a couple of years ago. Martinez now cant make 154 lbs.
Its not making fights like this when they can be made is what keeps Mayweather from being sealed as a top 10 ATG.

    Yup.

It sounds ridiculous but Hopkins has aged/passed it. He doesn't have the physical attributes minus his height and weight to do it, it won't happen I know but let's say it did Mayweather would UD him, too slick, much more athletic. And they aren't almost the same.

Floyd is no middleweight, still he probably would win this. Can´t see Hopkins being able to come down to 160 though. It won´t fit him good.

The old man must be suffering from the early stages of dementia. Is there any historical president for a 175lb champion/title holder calling out a 147lb champ?

    ****ing ridiculous...
