He wanted that cruiserweight championship fight real bad but only offered Adamek 500k, that fight and belt would have been his if he wasnt such a cheap *******.

I wish he would have added the cruiserweight belt then retired but I am glad he isnt fighting Dawson, he would probably loose a UD and its nice for him to go out on a huge win over pavlik.

I mean for ****s sake he is 44 or so now? He needs to retire eventually, at some point he will get old in the ring, no use in getting battered.

Oh no! At least one more Catchweight fight for B-Hop! What about getting guys like JMM, PAC to 170 and fight them?:huh
I think a guy like PAC might be the greatest and the most credible Win for Bernard:yep

And I almost forgot, what about Rubber match against his Daddy Jermain, at a Catchweight, Of course! ;)

I agree! BHOP is an ATG without any question. And he had a tremendous career that was FULL of obstacles and people looking to black ball him. He's in every sense of the word a "Fighter" inside and out.

It's the right move at this time. He should have announced retirement after the pavlik win IMO.

    Just joking earlier (post 43)

I wish him all the best, he has been a brilliant fighter thru the yrs, one of the best ever at MWT & a real ATG.

Id have liked him to fight Calzaghe in a rematch in the last fight of both their careers but I suppose its fitting that both leave as winners.
