What you guys are forgetting is that the people who walked RJ down and had success where overly aggressive and very high workrate fighters. Calzaghe and Johnson. Tarver wasn't a high work rate guy but he just had RJ's number.

There were other guys who tried to walk RJ down in Hanshaw, Trinidad and Lacy. All get KD or KOed. Hopkins is simply not a high work rate guy.

Hopkins is still 45 years old and a man that age will age overnight. Roy might win easily himself. What if Hopkins gets old overnight at 45?

The fight is a ****ing joke. Hopkins will win by KO, but there is no value or honour in that. And this is coming from a (very, very disappointed) B-Hop fan.

Hopkins by UD or stoppage, and after they should both retire.

Jones will look "good" on the first 2 rounds or so, then he'll just begin to lay on the ropes, and it'll be down hill for him from that point on.

Roy is shot. But dont write him off yet!! He's not fighting an aggressive puncher. He's not fighting some fast sharp shooter...he's fighting another old man!! I think Roy has a very very real chance to win again. I'll bet money the first few rounds are easy for him. Just how it goes after that is anyones guess. This fight is going to be competitive IMO. We can argue till the cows come home..but come april 3 that will be history and we'll see who was right and who was wrong!! Hopkins too is well past his sell by date. He cant stay active for many rounds before he goes into his defensive mode. Clinching and spoiling and stinking the place up.

This is a useless fight for Hopkins and a no win situation. I like Hopkins but who the hell wants to see Roy KOd again. Most likely it will go to a decision.

Anybody expecting this fight to be competitive is kidding themselves. Hopkins is gonna do exactly what he says, walk Roy down and beat the living **** out of him until the fight is stopped

He's getting paid lots on a ppv fight...thats a win win!! Now many dismiss this fight as Jones is shot(clearly so)..but just watch I bet you whoever wins this fight will be competitive. Hopkins is no spring chicken himself.

And all the naysayers will be proven wrong as to how desirable this actually is when the PPV figures come out! I bet its alive on here as the fight draws closer. And many critics now...well just wait n see - they'll be watching!

I agree with this and I hope RJJ throws enough Flashy punches to send Bernard's ass home with a Loss.
