    You just did.
based on what? him being a 17 year old fighting at 140? If that is the case then:

    He was smaller.

Yes give him a rematch after beating him all over MSG, over to LaGuardia and onto the plane to take his beaten down broken ass home to the island he let down after Bernard Hopkins wiped his ass with the PR flag.

Now don't come back into this thread with that bull****.

Then why did he have to mentally cheat against a natural 140 lber? If he was so good he didnt have to disrespect us like tha pai. Tito gave it his all during the fight but he couldnt keep his mind off the flag BHop disrespected. Rumor has it he tried to fly it out to NYC from Puerto Rico the night before the fight but no planes were allowed to fly over NYC because of 911.

To me it is truely amazing that he can compete at this level at this age. I remember very well in 2001 when he fought Trinidad he was considered old already at 37 years old. Trinidad was a favourite for this reason. Now Trinidad is long retired and Hopkins is still on top. Amazing.

Jack Johnson was undisputed. So was Jim Jeffries. And Joe Louis. And Marciano. Sugar Ray Robinson. Archie Moore. Floyd Patterson. Amongst thousands of others.

You're that ****ing dumb to think there were no undisputed champions before Hopkins?

Right before Trinidad and Hopkins fought, I told someone that if Hopkins was younger he might have had a shot, but I didn't think he could beat a wrecking machine like Tito at age 37.

    Proved me wrong, obviously. LOL.

Are you ****ing ******ed? did you read what I wrote in my original post? let me break it down for you because clearly you're not the sharpest tool in the box

    Ok are you ready? you are? ok let's do this;

I said he is the first 'true' undisputed champion now what did I mean by this you may ask yourself? well this is what I meant (please note being that you're thick as dog **** i'm going to give you a longer explanation using both numbers and, your welcome)

    1) Hopkins won the vacant IBF title in his rematch with Segundo Mercado.

    2) Hopkins then unified this title and won the WBC title off Keith Holmes.

Are you still following me Beatrice? the above two points show how Hopkins unified and had two titles both the IBF and his newly attained WBC title.

    3) Hopkins fights and beats Felix Trinidad at which point he manages to unifiy another title this time Trinidad's WBA title he is also award The Ring magazine Middleweight title.

Ok Beatrice I know there was a bit more info the last point so let me explain, Hopkins had now added the WBA title to his collection and with him also picking up the vacant ring magazine title he was effectively undisputed champion already.

    4) Now here's the reason why I referred to him as the first and only 'true' undisputed champion especially in this modern era (read on) although he was in fact undisputed champion already Hopkins fought Oscar De La Hoya was had the WBO belt, Hopkins once again defeated his challenger and was now holder of the IBF, WBC, WBA, WBO and Ring magazine title all at the same time hence = 'true' undisputed champion and the first man to hold all 4 titles
    simultaneously.

:pwned:pwned Don't feel too bad, atleast you got educated a little.

Nigel Benn..? Was a wrecking machine middleweight. Felix Trindad is not a all time great middleweight fighter..! he was a one dimensional hard hitting welterweight......"WELTERWEIGHT"

Bernard Hopkins middleweight reign is completely overrated.
